Who We Are
Action Activists is an organization dedicated to a movement of youth making a change. It is a group of young aspiring activists who go out into the community to do community service and lead events to raise awareness for different issues within the world. Our generation needs to be at the forefront of change within America. Action Activists allow young students to use their platform to promote change they want to see. Its members are primarily marginalized youth. It is minority based because their perception and experience of the world is different from the majority of Americans. The organization also focuses on individual growth by developing morals, critical thinking skills, character, and the willingness to use your voice and take action. This organization is devoted to creating the next generation of activists, advocates, protestors, and reformers through events focused on reform for progress and ultimately strengthening the community.

Our Core Values
Our organizational culture is very tight-knit, welcoming, and progressive. It upholds our core values to foster a healthy and uplifting team environment. Our first core value is collaborative. Collaboration improves teamwork and team productivity. We want our members to be comfortable enough to work not only individually, but in teams as well. It is important for activists and advocates to be able work together on new projects and be able to learn from each other. Our next value is innovative. We encourage the creation of new ideas, techniques, methodologies, research, etc. in our organization. There is no set way of how we should accomplish change and therefore, members are always motivated to find new ways to address social issues. Our next value is inclusive. We want our members to be able to embrace each others differences and be completely authentic. The organization's environment should be a safe space for all members to voice their opinions, concerns and practice their activism. Our next value is transparency. Being transparent with our projects, funds, and all Action Activists' activities promotes trustworthiness in the organization. Our next value is accountability. As developing activists and advocates, it is essential that everyone practices accountability. This value is important because it teaches members to take ownership of their actions and what being a leader truly entails. Our last value is dependability. It is imperative that members can depend on one another or else the chances of collaboration, transparency, innovation, etc. will decrease. Members need to be able to trust each other in order for the organization to thrive.
Our Team
Our board of directors includes our Founder, our Vice President, Secretary, Social Media Coordinator, Treasurer, Fundraising Coordinator, and Event Coordinator. These members are sure to follow the rules of the handbook and uphold the values of the organizational culture. They also act as role models for other organization members.
